Founder and Joint Managing Director, Jim Walsh, FPRII (Life), Dip. CAM.PR

Jim has the experience of over 30 years in the public relations and communications industry in Ireland. He started his career in publishing and is known for providing solid and trustworthy communications advice and counsel to clients in a wide range of business sectors including NGO’s, Charities and Government Agencies.

His particular expertise lie in the areas of crisis communication, issues management, media relations , press office management, corporate communications, public affairs and media training. He is a contributing author to the book, ‘Crisis Communications - Practical PR Strategies for Reputation Management & Company Survival.’ He has been head of a number of PR representative bodies including the international PR network IPREX, the Public Relations Consultants Association and the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. He lectures on PR issues and is a member of the National Union of Journalists and the Guild of Agricultural Journalists.

Joint Managing Director, Caroline Heywood, BA, MPRII

Caroline has over twenty year’s communications consulting experience in all areas of PR. Her reputation is based on outstanding project management to drive results, her total commitment to excellence in client servicing as well as her ability to maintain a calm and reasoned approach in every situation. She has worked with a broad spectrum of clients and has considerable experience and contacts in the areas of strategic counseling, media relations, consumer marketing, event and sponsorship management.

Client Director, Gillian D’Arcy, BA, Postgrad, Dip, PR, MPRII

Gillian has over 12 years consultancy and in-house experience in both Dublin and London. She has devised and implemented numerous consumer public relations campaigns for a range of Irish and international brands. Her skills and experience lie in the areas of consumer food, consumer healthcare, travel and tourism. Gillian holds a BA Honours degree in Economics from UCD and a postgraduate diploma in Public Relations from the Fitzwilliam Institute.

Client Manager, Vivienne Gleeson, Dip, PR, MPRII

During her three years at Walsh PR, Vivienne has developed strong media campaigns that generated impressive results for a range of clients including health cash plan provider, HSF Health Plan and toys and games company, Hasbro as well as well-known pharma brands such as Abidec. Vivienne, previously worked in a specialist Public Affairs agency and is a graduate of the Fitzwilliam Institute.

Client Executive, Niamh Ryan, BA, MA


Niamh is a graduate of DCU and former Student of the Year at DIT Aungier Street. She has been with Walsh PR for over two years and works across both corporate and consumer clients, as well as in the not-for-profit sector. Her experience lies in the areas of construction, FMCG, food, travel and tourism sectors and she has particular skills in the areas of event management, digital media, research and media relations.

Natalia's experience ranges from researching in broadcast radio and television, to writing for national magazines and working in the press office of fashion retailer Penney's. Natalia has completed a number of media internships since receiving her degree in 2009. She joined Walsh Public Relations as a Client Executive in January 2012 from another Dublin PR agency.

Tara Mulvaney

Tara has over 14 years’ experience in the Public Relations industry. She began her career in Walsh Public Relations before moving to the Irish Farmers' Association as regional press officer and then to Nestlé (Ireland) as Corporate Affairs Manager. Her experience lies particularly in the areas of issues and crisis management, regulatory and public affairs, media relations, consumer marketing and sponsorship management in the food sector. She is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

Krishna is an award winning brand communications and digital marketing strategist, mentor and professional speaker. Krishna has experience across multiple sectors including FMCG, technology, professional services, financial services, education and non-profits. Previously, a Board member of Guinness and Diageo in Europe, Asia and North America, she has a wealth of corporate strategy, business performance and employee engagement. She's a contributor to national and international media and a respected commentator and author on the subject of inbound marketing and digital communications.

Integrated Marketing Consultant,  Louise Shorthall

Louise has over 17 years’ experience in the field of marketing. She has managed national and international FMCG brands including Nescafe, Kit Kat, Aero, Smarties, Milkybar & McCambridge and is known for her excellent analytical and strategic skills. She has considerable experience operating at all levels of the organisation, most recently as Head of Consumer Marketing at Nestle. One of her biggest achievements is steering the Nescafe brand to market leadership within the Irish market. Commercially astute, she has a very clear focus on delivery results.
