Through its active involvement with the international PR network,
IPREX , the Dublin-based Walsh Public Relations has now expanded its contacts for public relations and specialist communication services into Asia and South America.
IPREX recently extended its global reach with new partners recruited from the Hong Kong, New Zealand, Brazil and Argentina. Additional partners have also been recruited in the UK, Spain, Germany and a number of US cities.
“Through our IPREX links we have worked on joint projects in Ireland with PR firms from the US, France, Portugal and the UK. We have also introduced Irish businesses to IPREX partners in China, the Middle East, the US and the UK. The new IPREX partners in the Asia Pacific and South America regions now expands the opportunities for us to work with Irish companies moving into these regions and for businesses from those regions who need communications support in Ireland,” said Jim Walsh, MD of Walsh Public Relations.
With 70 partner companies working from 90 offices worldwide IPREX continues to expand. O’Dwyers, the PR industry analyst in the US recently reported that “for the second year running IPREX has shown the strongest growth among the worldwide networks.”
The IPREX expansion was accelerated by a new recruitment strategy instigated during Jim Walsh’s recent two-year term as IPREX Worldwide President. The strategy moved IPREX away from a one-partner-per-market model, to multiple partners in all main markets mixing both full-service partners with speciality firms.
“In the UK for example we now have six partners, with full-service firms in London, the North West, Scotland and Northern Ireland alongside financial and public affairs specialists in London,” said Jim Walsh.
