The Dr. Oetker Cupcake Challenge invites home bakers nationwide to let their imaginations run wild when baking and decorating, for a chance to trade in their Cupcake cases for a bite at the Big Apple, with a trip to New York (and home of the cupcake!) worth €5,000 up for grabs.

The competition is open to all baking enthusiasts from the total novice to the expert home baker. All you have to show is a flare for the creative in the design of your cupcake. To enter, contestants simply log on to www.cupcakechallenge.ie to upload pictures of their cupcake creations, each of which must contain at least one Dr. Oetker product. This is easily done since the Dr. Oetker range includes a vast array of quality ingredients such as baking powder and essences as well as a whole host of edible decorations, colours and icings.

The Dr. Oetker Baking range is available in all grocery stores nationwide with promotions in-store throughout the Cupcake Challenge until the end of August 2011.
