Walsh:PR executive nominated for Irish Young Communications Professional of the Year
Written by Caroline Heywood - May 2017
We’re delighted to share the news that our colleague, Roseanne Regan, has been nominated for ‘Young Communications Professional of the Year’ in the Irish Awards for Excellence in Public Relations 2017.
Roseanne, who is a Senior Client Manager, joined Walsh:PR in 2014. Her colleagues and clients understand very well why she has been included among five nominees for this award. She brings an energy and insightfulness beyond her years to every communications campaign and we’re delighted to see that her efforts have now been recognised by the industry.
Roseanne has successfully devised and managed many high profile campaigns, including one just recently for one of our food clients, oat producers Flahavan’s. Free Porridge Day, which was held in conjunction with the RTÉ TV programme health programme, Operation Transformation in partnership with Flahavan’s, was a roaring success with incredible public engagement resulting in 3 million bowls of porridge being served up over a weekend.
The Awards for Excellence in Public Relations is organised by the three PR representative bodies in Ireland – the Public Relations Consultants Association, Public Relations Institute of Ireland and the Northern Ireland Region of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations – to showcase the best in practice in the country. The awards presentation takes place on 23rd June.
