We were truly proud to be involved in the NiQuitin #QuitToFit campaign, a 10-week transformative online programme tackling smoking cessation in young people. The campaign was shortlisted for an award at the Irish Healthcare Awards 2018.

We were truly proud to be involved in the NiQuitin #QuitToFit campaign, a 10-week transformative online programme tackling smoking cessation in young people. The campaign was shortlisted for an award at the Irish Healthcare Awards 2018.

The programme combined physical challenges with motivational supports to help participants successfully quit smoking. The outcome was a 100% completion rate with 9 out of 10 participants seeing an improvement in their health and the winning team improving their oxygen consumption by 9% and 20% respectively.

The campaign also achieved significant engagement with young people all across the country with the #QuitToFit motivational and weekly challenge content achieving a total of 257,264 views over 10 weeks. A further 404 participants signed up to receive the weekly #QuitToFit eZine. In addition, our participants’ weekly social media challenges achieved over 806,000 story views on Instagram, our four teams shared over 111 social media posts over the course of the 10-week programme and we achieved a total campaign audience reach of over 3,000,000.
