OBJECTIVE:

Working with global food packaging company, Tetra Pak to deliver the annual National Tree Day campaign in association with The Tree Council of Ireland.

OUTCOME:

The campaign involves sponsorship management, media & stakeholder relations, development of content and imagery for the treeday website, as well as development and upkeep of the site. It also involves the creation of a suite of media assets including: press releases, features, news reports, articles, video creation and photography. Last year, the campaign reached a national print reach of 400,000+ and an online reach of 10.4 million plus national broadcast coverage, extensive social, regional print and radio coverage.

Walsh:PR managed the media relations for the Tetra Pak Tree Day annual campaign. The resulting coverage was outstanding, leading to a high level of participation in the campaign from schools across the country, as well as an increase in the volume of traffic to the Tree Day website, www.treeday.ie.
